Workstations are built to order: we select processor, memory and SSD to match your software and project size. Prices in the quotation – they follow current supplier prices. Graphics cards: professional cards with certified drivers; when the manufacturer changes models, the respective successor model.

What matters

Processor

For many commands Plant 3D and AutoCAD work mainly on a single core – a high clock speed helps more than a very high core count. Many cores help with rendering and point cloud processing.

Memory (RAM)

Large Plant 3D projects and Navisworks models need headroom; for point clouds in ReCap we plan more generously.

Graphics card

Professional cards (NVIDIA RTX) with certified drivers. More graphics memory for point clouds and large Navisworks models.

SSD

Fast NVMe SSD for project and scan data – point clouds quickly take up several hundred gigabytes.

Monitors

Two monitors are standard in plant engineering: model and Project Manager/Data Manager side by side.

Network & server

Network projects need a fast, stable network; for SQL Server projects we advise on the server specification.
