Demo with your own catalog
In 30 minutes, we show you what the Catalog Checker finds in your catalog, how a piping spec is created from the use case and how a manufacturer catalog becomes a Plant 3D catalog – using your data, not a sample.
How the demo works
- Choose a dateTue or Thu 11:00
- ConfirmationTeams invitation by email
- Customer accountwe activate it before the appointment
- 30 minutesYour catalog, your questions
Ideally, bring one of your own catalogs (.pcat with the folder of the same name, packed as a ZIP) and – if available – the manufacturer catalog as PDF or Excel. The catalog is opened in your browser; it never leaves your computer.
What you will see
Each step also works on its own – many start with the Catalog Checker.
Catalog Checker
Your catalog checked in seconds: implausible dimensions, missing weights, order texts without a standard, iso symbols, blocks – with suggestions you can apply.
Piping spec from the use case
Industry, medium, pressure and temperature → material, connections, PED category, wall thicknesses and spec sheet (preliminary sizing).
Catalog from manufacturer catalog
Read dimension tables from PDF or Excel, confirm families, check – Excel for the Catalog Builder.
Sample calculation
What a family costs you – created in-house or with catalog credits. With your own figures.

Do the math, not the marketing
For management: what the Catalog Checker saves – with your own figures.
What does a component family cost when your designers create and check it themselves? Enter your values – the comparison updates instantly.
Example values: a piping spec with 30 families, 30 minutes per family, €95 per hour. Replace them with your own figures. Billed in catalog credits: adding components, piping spec as a catalog, catalog from manufacturer catalogs – 0.1 credit per family.
Result
| Create and check yourself | €1,425 |
| With ASEING (0.1 catalog credit per family) | €510 |
| Difference | €915 |
| Engineering hours freed up for projects | 15 h |
Not included in the calculation: no installation, no subscription, one package for the whole company, unused credits are carried over when reordering before expiry. Euros net, plus VAT.
Frequently asked questions
What does the demo cost?
Nothing. Afterwards, you can check one catalog per company free of charge; packages are available with 6, 12 or 24 catalog credits, and for small requirements the Mini Package with 1 catalog credit.
Do we have to send you our catalog?
No. The Catalog Checker runs in your browser; you only share your screen in Teams. The catalog files never leave your computer.
Do we need AutoCAD Plant 3D for this?
Not for the demo – a current browser and Microsoft Teams are enough. You import the finished catalog into Plant 3D later as usual.
Who should attend?
Whoever maintains piping specs and catalogs – and ideally the person who decides on tools. For management, we calculate the example above with your figures.
